• This workshop will focus on older therapies for depression.
• Many of these have fallen out of fashion, and there is a risk that newer generations of psychiatrists and other professionals may lose skills and experience in their use.
• We will discuss practical advice and guidance on when and in whom to use these treatments.
• We will discuss how to monitor the prescriptions and common issues that may arise.
• Each slot will be 30 mins, but the workshop will be interactive and allow discussion of clinical scenarios and cases.
• Finally, we will discus where the current evidence suggests that these strategies fit within current treatment pathways and algorithms.
